A brief note on breeding Giant American Toads for pest control in sugar cane fields. The toads, captured and transported for breeding, successfully laid eggs in captivity—a phenomenon uncommon in previous attempts with similar species. This study documents the circumstances and challenges surrounding the captive breeding of toads imported from Hawaii to Queensland for pest management purposes.
