Abstract
Research in Cuba over the last 5 years has focused on advances in sugarcane fertilization. The study encompassed various sugarcane regions, with 101 trials conducted including 214 harvests. Key findings suggest limited response to N fertilizer in plant cane, optimal doses for ratoon crops, slight response to P applications due to soil characteristics, and the importance of K applications. Additionally, the study highlights the positive results of using filter mud at specific rates, emphasizing agrotechnical practices' influence on results.
