Drying off treatments before harvest were studied in sugarcane crops to assess their effects on yield and quality. Various drying off levels were applied across different seasons, impacting cane yield, sucrose content, and recoverable sugar percentage. Optimal drying off levels were determined for different harvest seasons, showing increases in sugar yields per hectare and per volume of water applied. Recommendations on drying off procedures were provided.
