Abstract
The paper investigates ammonia volatilization from urea applied to sugarcane trash blankets using urease inhibitor NBPT. With legal restrictions on pre-harvest burning leading to increased green cane harvesting, managing urea application efficiency becomes crucial. The study examines the impact of NBPT on reducing ammonia losses when urea is surface applied to sugarcane trash.
