Abstract
This study investigates the reduction of raw sugar color by washing with hydrogen peroxide during centrifugation. The research aims to produce low-color raw sugar to ease refinery processes and potentially access premium markets. Tests using hydrogen peroxide in centrifugal wash water on laboratory scale equipment demonstrate its effectiveness in lowering raw sugar color, with implications for sugar quality improvement.
